How to reach NIT Goa

Conference Venue: The conference will be held in Chapora Hall, Mandovi Seminar Complex, National Institute of Technology Goa which is located in Cuncolim, Salcete-403703, Goa.

Connectivity to Goa:

By Air: Goa has excellent air connectivity with multiple airlines offering both domestic and international flights.

Dabolim Airport caters to domestic and international airlines that stop en route to other Indian destinations. It is at a distance of around 38 km (45 minutes by car) from the NIT Goa. Another airport- Manohar International Airport in Mopa is 77 km (1 hour and 30 minutes by car) from the NIT Goa.

Goa is well-connected to major Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata with the frequent flights availability. Airlines like IndiGo, Air India, Air India Express, and Akasa Air offer frequent direct flights to and from various Indian cities. Mumbai Airport operates a significant number of international flights, with over 1,000 weekly flights dedicated to international destinations. 

By Train: The closest major railway station is ‘Madgaon Railway Station', which is around 15 km (25 minutes by car) from the Institute. Goa is well connected by roadways, railways and airways with various parts of the country.

To reach NIT Goa:

By Car: From each airport (Dabolim and MOPA) and Madgaon Railway Station, there is a high availability of rented cars. From Dabolim Airport 38 km (45 minutes), Cost: INR1800 (21 USD) Approx. From MOPA Airport: 77 km (1 hour and 30 minutes), Cost: INR 3500 (40 USD) Approx. From Madgaon Railway Station: around 15 km (30 minutes by car), Cost: INR 800 (08 USD) Approx. 

By Local Bus: Frequent local buses are available to reach NIT Goa. Every 10 min, local buses are available near to NIT Goa to visit in and around Goa.

In addition, rental bikes and cars by the hour from various service providers are available in Goa.

• NIT Goa provides a hostel accommodation for the students (separate for male and female) at a cheaper cost. In addition, Guest house accommodation at NIT Goa is also available for the experts at a cheaper cost.

• In house accommodation will be provided on a prior request and based on availability.
